President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints posted on May 16 about his new walker and wheelchair. “Gratefully, my heart is good, my spirit is strong as are my legs, and my brain still works,” he tweeted. “Little challenges with balance should be the least of our worries. Onward and upward!”

He was one of several leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to post on social media platforms in the past week.

President Dallin H. Oaks, first counselor in the First Presidency, and his wife, Sister Kristen Oaks, shared a video on social media on May 18, inviting young adults to the worldwide devotional for young adults on Sunday, May 21.

“We invite you to prepare by reading 1 Nephi 10:19,” Sister Oaks said.

On Instagram on May 19, Relief Society General President Camille N. Johnson wrote about the concept of relief and invited readers to share their own thoughts with her in the comments.

On May 16, President M. Russell Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, encouraged all to strive for the Spirit as a companion always. He tweeted, “He will help you stay on the covenant path and keep you focused on the simple, significant gospel of Jesus Christ.”

On May 15, Sister Michelle D. Craig, first counselor in the Young Women general presidency, noted that under President Nelson’s direction as Prophet, 133 temples have been or will be built. “He builds faith in Jesus Christ, testimony and spiritual capacity in those who choose to listen,” she said on Facebook.

On May 15, Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles tweeted, “I rejoice that the great plan of salvation is big enough for all Heavenly Father’s children.”

Sister Rebecca L. Craven, second counselor in the Young Women general presidency, posted a video of her doing sign language on Instagram on May 16. “If you haven’t felt [God’s] love in a while, ask Him how He feels about you,” she wrote. “And then watch patiently for the evidence of that love to be manifested.”

In a BYU–Idaho devotional on Tuesday, Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles announced a new president for the university. On social media on May 17, the Apostle shared some of his thoughts from and on the devotional and announcement.

On May 15, Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles testified that Heavenly Father wants families to be happy and to be forever. He tweeted, “I pray we will cherish family stories of the past and strive to create new memories now that will one day become special experiences we love to tell.”

The Young Men general presidency recently had the opportunity to speak at BYU Women’s Conference. In a Facebook post on May 18, Young Men General President Steven J. Lund wrote about how parents and youth leaders can help youth connect with the Spirit.
