The following new mission presidents and companions have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in July.

Martin W. Bates, 55, and Donna Bates, eight children, Yale Ward, Salt Lake Bonneville Stake: Alpine German-Speaking Mission, succeeding President Scott M. Naatjes and Sister Jodi T. Naatjes. Brother Bates is an elders quorum instructor and ward mission leader and former bishop, elders quorum president, ward Young Men president, ward Sunday School president, Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher, scoutmaster and missionary in the Germany Frankfurt Mission. He was born in Salt Lake City to Douglas Fetzer Bates and Eva-Maria Winter Bates.

Sister Bates is a Relief Society teacher and ward missionary and former stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Young Women president, ward Primary president, Sunday School teacher, 11-year old scout leader and Primary music leader. She was born in The Dalles, Oregon, to Dallas George Graham and Sharon Lynn Graham.

David W. Cluff, 57, and Jennifer J. Cluff, four children, Somerset Ward, Gilbert Arizona Williams Field Stake: Florida Fort Lauderdale Mission, succeeding President Timothy F. Pingree and Sister Lou Ann L. Pingree. Brother Cluff is a former stake welfare and self-reliance specialist, stake presidency counselor, bishop, bishopric counselor, ward Sunday School president, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Brazil São Paulo South Mission. He was born in Mesa, Arizona, to Milford Ray Cluff and Isabelle Lamoreaux Holladay Cluff.

Sister Cluff is a former stake welfare and self-reliance specialist, stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Young Women president and ward Relief Society presidency counselor. She was born in Tucson, Arizona, to Robert Owen Jones and Lynne Marie Richardson Jones.

Brother Durrant is a Primary teacher and former stake president, bishop, high councilor, high priests group leader, elders quorum president and missionary in the Chile Viña del Mar Mission. He was born in Ogden, Utah, to Don Thacker Durrant and Peggy Jensen Durrant.

Sister Durrant is a Sunday School teacher and former stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Young Women presidency counselor, ward Relief Society presidency counselor, Primary music leader and missionary in the Indiana Indianapolis Mission. She was raised in Blanding, Utah, by Richard Dean Pincock and Renee Black Pincock.

Sister Eghan is a ward young single adult adviser and former stake music leader, ward Young Women presidency counselor, ward Primary presidency counselor, Sunday School teacher and institute teacher. She was born in Tema, Ghana, to Yaw Afrifa and Janet Afrifa.

He was born in Atikokan, Ontario, to Donald Helmer Fisk and Paulette Sylvia Fisk.

Sister Fisk is a seminary teacher and former stake Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, ward Relief Society presidency counselor, Sunday School teacher and Primary teacher. She was born in Bienfait, Saskatchewan, to Robert George Steil and Sharon Mae Steil.

He was born in Edmonton, Alberta, to Warren Dale Heyland and Renee Louise Heyland.

Sister Heyland is a JustServe specialist and Sunday School teacher and former stake Relief Society president, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, Sunday School teacher, and seminary teacher. She was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, to Owen Holmes and Jean Holmes.

Sister Jones is a stake Relief Society secretary, emergency preparedness specialist, temple ordinance worker and ministering sister, and former ward Relief Society presidency counselor, Sunday School teacher, Relief Society teacher, Gospel Doctrine teacher and seminary teacher. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, to Charles Howard Recht and Elizabeth Maud Recht.

She was born in Auckland, New Zealand, to Ruben Paraha and Maraea Paraha.
