After their first performance of the 2022 Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square’s Christmas concert this December, singer and “Disney Legend” Lea Salonga and British actor Sir David Suchet participated in a press conference.

Each spoke about performing in the Conference Center in downtown Salt Lake City. As part of this annual program, the audience of 15,000 filled the building with pinpricks of light shared from their cellphones. “It’s like, ‘Wow,’” said Salonga.

The performers were joined by Nick Winton, the son of Nicholas Winton who helped to evacuate hundreds of Jewish children from Czechoslovakia before World War II.
