Seungjin and YoungOak Lim have been called to serve as mission president and companion by the First Presidency
The following new mission president and companion have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in November.
Seungjin Lim, 66, and YoungOak Lim, three children, Methuen Ward, North Shore Massachusetts Stake: Korea Busan Mission, succeeding President David G. Killpack and Sister Heidi R. Killpack. Brother and Sister Lim are serving as senior missionaries in the California Oakland/San Francisco Mission. Brother Lim is a former patriarch, stake president, bishop, branch president, ward mission leader, ward Young Men president, Sunday School teacher, seminary teacher, Young Men adviser, Cub Scout leader and temple ordinance worker. He was born in Suwon City, Korea, to YoungHo Lim and Jeonghoe Gim.
Sister Lim is a former stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Relief Society presidency counselor, ward Young Women presidency counselor, Young Women adviser, Sunday School teacher, seminary teacher, Cub Scout leader, temple ordinance worker, ward missionary and missionary in the Korea Mission. She was born in Kangwon-Do, Korea, to ChunBok Kim and SukSoon Bae.
